The Inspired Home Show 2022: A Week in Review

by lotus823 Staff

March 16, 2022

Following a two-year hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic, The Inspired Home Show returned in-person to Chicago’s McCormick Place on March 5-7, 2022. Formerly known as the International Home and Housewares Show, which has been sponsored by the International Housewares Association for decades, exhibitors from around the world brought forth their creativity, innovation, and passion at the annual trade show (including some of our very own clients). Read on for our recap of this amazing event!

On-Site Client Highlights

Bamboozle & Pulp Fusion

Sustainability-focused Bamboozle presented its functional bamboo fiber kitchenware line, made from reclaimed, renewable, and biodegradable materials. Merging nature and unique design to create beautiful pieces for both the home and kitchen, the team was excited to share numerous products from its line at this year’s Inspired Home Show. Its sister company under Method Sourcing Corp., Pulp Fusion, also joined in on the fun by debuting its new eco-friendly handbag and luggage collection. Constructed with low-impact materials, Pulp Fusion’s durable and water-resistant bags are designed for everyday use. Both brands are on a mission of pushing environmental responsibility while supporting consumer needs with long-lasting products.

Daan Technologies

Home to the smallest, fastest, and most advanced autonomous dishwashers, client Daan Technologies was also an exhibitor at The Inspired Home Show. Named as one of Reviewed’s CES 2022 Editor’s Award and TWICE Picks 2022 Award recipients earlier this year, they were excited to make waves in the housewares trade industry. Bob, the mini dishwasher shares about the same dimensions as a microwave, but the appliance is packed with power! The flexible and water-conscious device also features LED technology to enhance the kitchen ambiance and an optional UV-C program that is capable of disinfecting other items such as keys and wallets. Bob addresses two challenges facing our world: smaller average households and living spaces, and the lack of circular economies.

Looking Ahead

Attendees and exhibitors alike had the opportunity to explore new products and reconnect with the most influential professionals in the home and housewares community. The success of The Inspired Home Show reinforces just how popular and necessary it is for brands in the industry. From innovation showcases and keynote presentations to awards, the show makes sure to create an immersive experience for all participants. This year was no exception and now there is so much excitement for what next year will bring!
