As a company acquired by Sub-Zero Group, Inc., Wolf Gourmet has been dedicated to creating the functional, flexible and beautiful kitchen of your dreams since 2000.
The Challenge
In January 2020, Wolf Gourmet began a partnership with lotus823, tasking the agency with managing the brand’s public relations activities surrounding their line of countertop appliances.
With this goal in mind, our top objectives were to generate awareness about Wolf Gourmet’s countertop appliances through key editorial placements. In addition, our team looked to position Wolf Gourmet as a desirable and trusted lifestyle brand that consumers would feel comfortable investing in.
The Strategy
From January through July 2020, lotus823 developed and executed a comprehensive public relations strategy surrounding Wolf Gourmet’s product suite. Activities included an in-depth media audit of previous placements, media list curation, development of unique pitch angles, and tailored media outreach.
As Wolf Gourmet’s countertop appliances are a higher-end collection with a more expensive price point than staple kitchen pieces such as stand mixers, griddles, blenders, coffee makers, and cutlery, lotus823 was very selective in outreach efforts to reach key demographics. lotus823 targeted affluent lifestyle, gifting, trade, tech, and other publications as part of the comprehensive PR launch.
Results
In just seven months, lotus823 was able to secure media placements in top tier media publications such as The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Good Housekeeping, AllRecipes, Elite Daily, Bustle, and many others for a combined total reach of more than 768 million impressions and 29 total pieces of media coverage.
