The honorable mention was for a digital campaign created on behalf of headphones giant and client Audio-Technica in the Contest or Giveaway category.

In fall 2017, Audio-Technica (A-T) looked to its agency partner, lotus823, to create a social media launch plan for the company’s new special edition M50xRD headphones, which were to debut at the 2017 Audio Engineering Society (AES) Show in New York City. With Facebook being A-T USA’s strongest social media channel, lotus823 created a giveaway to coincide with the launch of the product; one lucky winner would be chosen at random to receive the headphones overnight, making them the first in the country to get their hands (and ears) on them.  The giveaway post exceeded expectations with exceptional performance that saw lasting success for the remainder of the month.

Earlier this year, lotus823 also earned its second consecutive gold in the AVA Digital Awards, also for the A-T Facebook giveaway campaign. The AVA Digital Awards is an international competition that recognizes excellence by creative professionals in the planning, design, and production of digital projects, ranging from digital engagement campaigns to audio-visual production, website development, social media, and mobile marketing.
