Tuesday was the first full day of the 2015 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. With hundreds of the latest gadgets being debuted, there were a few items that seemed to generate a lot of buzz. As we enter into Day 2 of the largest tech event of the year, we continue to share some of the most talked about moments thus far.

Most Talked About Moments of CES Day 1:

First let’s start with 3D printing. Yesterday we saw 3D printing from pots and pans to dresses on the runway. While 3D printing isn’t a new innovation for 2015, it is definitely making a big splash this year at CES. Everyone is talking about this convenient and effortless advancement and what it will lead to next.

Not to mention, there was even a designated area just for 3D printing. This gave all the CES attendees, the opportunity to experience the phenomenon first hand. And by the looks of the crowds it seems to be a big winner for day 1.

Another hot area of day 1 at CES fits in perfectly with all those health related New Year’s Resolutions. This not so new, but certainly improved; fitness technology was seen in the form of fitness trackers. Several companies showed off new features and new accessories to really make their fitness gadget pop with a convincing retail price. A few CES favorites include: iHealth Edge, Swarovski Shine, Fitbit Surge, AmStrip and more.

Amidst all the latest tech gadgets, CES is comprised of keynote speakers, presentations, celebrities, and more. Yesterday one very tall man seemed to be in the spotlight for all attendees and exhibitors; any guesses on who this might be? (Hint Hint, he is infamous for basketball and towers at 7’ 1”).

This particular legend was Shaquille O’Neal. Shaq partnered with Monster Products this year at CES, and will be making several guest appearances and presentations throughout the week. Be on the look out for him. He isn’t too hard to miss!

Lastly, what are your thoughts on a self-driving car? Well, Mercedes Benz is showcasing a new car experience that allows the vehicle to do all the driving for you. With this new technology you can literally sit back, relax, and enjoy the drive.

As we enter into Day 2, we will see lots of new trends within the tech realm. What are you looking forward to this week at CES? Tell us in the comments below! Also, keep checking in on our blog for more CES highlights this week or connect with us on Twitter.
