Sales Assistant

Summary:
lotus823 is seeking a resourceful and dependable part-time Business Development Assistant with excellent organizational, research, administrative and communication skills. In this entry-level position, as the BD Assistant you will be supporting the BD team through researching potential prospects, evaluating industry trends and competitors, and completing various research projects. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about learning and growth and be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, has a passion for research, and a strong desire to learn.
Responsibilities:
The BD Assistant will work directly with the Senior Business Development Executive on various projects. Initial responsibilities may include:
- Assists with administrative projects to support BD team
- Researching and identifying potential clients and creating new prospect lists
- Researching prospect contact information
- Researching industry trends and competitive landscapes
Following in-house training, additional responsibilities may include:
- Reviewing and evaluating lotus823 marketing tactics and making recommendations for improvements
- Conducting audits of potential clients to analyze their marketing needs
- Actively updating lotus823’s CRM
- Assisting with proposal creation
Qualifications:
This is a part-time opportunity open to ambitious individuals looking to grow in the business development and sales space.
- Must reside in New Jersey of Florida – remote position
- Minimum 1 year administrative or sales experience
- Strong work ethic
- Exceptional research skills
- Experience with Canva preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to learn new tools and software quickly
- Dedication to learning and continuous growth
- Ability to adapt to a changing work environment
